Re: ISA 200x an Windows Vista

Hi Matthias,

Well....we've answered your question already within the ISA-Newsgroups and
you recently dropped me a private eMail to which I responded....

this is a widespread question, but i can't finde anything about a release
date or so for supporting Windows Vista RTM,

Vista is supported as a web proxy and SecureNAT Client. There'll be a
Firewall Client for Vista at some day. Note, Vista is not generally
available jet.

Additional Questions:
Will Vista work in a Network with ISA 2000?

Yes.

When the ISA client will be released, so that POP3/SMTP will work

It is working right now. You do not need to install a Firewall Client. You
can use it as a SNAT Client.

Regards,
Dieter
