As you say, Firewall client computer has Firewall Client software installed.
SecureNAT client has default gateway pointing to ISA.
Take a look at this article for more info on how clients work. It is written
for ISA Server 2006 but generally applies to ISA Server 2004 as well.

In the ISA server monitoring tab i saw it has connection to secure nat and
web proxy. When i install this client, the only thing i do not installed
is
the screen messenging. So i guess it is a secure Nat client but I'm not
sure
whether it is a firewall client or not. Any different between secure nat
and
firewall client ?

Hi Daniel,
I've installed firewall client and can connect it to the ISA 2004 for
web
browsing but from my client it cannot ping anywhere even the ISA server
itself. But from the server it can ping to the client. I've also setup
a
firewall policy that allow internal/network sets to ping
local&external.
Pls
advise thanks
Is this client as well a SecureNAT Client? Firewallclient supports only
TCP/UDP protocolls and Ping is a ICMP thing. So to use Ping command your
client has to be a SNAT-Client.
