Re: Event: User Credentials Were Not Accepted by ISA Server

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

Make sure the ISA Firewall Client Application Settings show "svchost disable=1".
You do NOT want svchost processes using the firewall client.

Hi All,

I keep getting the following in event logs on my workstations and servers:

===>

Source: MS FW Client
Category: None
Event ID: 1

Application [svchost.exe]. Authentication failed. The user credentials were
not accepted by ISA Server. Verify that the user account running this
application has the required permissions.

<===

Everything still works OK, though, we can all get onto the internet just
fine.

TIA,
Mike
