Hi all,
Very new to ISA, but I have recently started using it.
I have a bit of a problem I cant figure out though. Recently (Since
Monday)
one of our Engineers has found that his programs which aren't proxy aware
cant access one of websites. We can access it however from internet
explorer
But from any pc if I try and "Telnet mywebserver.com 80" we get
"Could not open a connection to host on port 80" also doesnt work on any
port
Now if I do this from the ISA server I can connect no problem.
The reason we need to do this is the applications dl a file from the
webserver to check the code / programming syntax (XML Afik)
Now supposedly this was working perfectly up untill Friday but since then
nothing.. Im not 100% that I havent inadvertidly caused this error through
my
tinkering with ISA although I dont think I did, the only piece of ISA that
I
actually changed was "Ask unauthenticated users for identification" I
unticked both boxs in incoming and outgoing.
I know its a bit a long shot but I might not be making the greatest of
sense, but has anyone heard of this happening before? or has anyone any
idea
whats going on?
Im a little lost on this. Thank you
.
