This is a limitation when Java sites do not support authentication. From the
document "Troubleshooting Client Authentication on Access Rules" at
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/isa/2004/plan/ts_client_rules.mspx
we have the following:
Java Content on Web Sites Not Displaying as Expected
Problem: Java applications on Web sites accessed through ISA Server are not
displaying properly.
Cause: This may be a problem for Web proxies (including ISA Server)
connecting to Java sites that do not support authentication.
Solution: Add a rule to allow anonymous access to the site, or configure the
site for direct access.
