I set up a back to back lab.
I read somewhere that it was not possible to have a client dial up an
external server and go through the internal server and authenticate on the
internal LAN without a pass-through connection.

I set up the lab with a pass-through connection (using the article on the
isaserver site). It worked.
I then tried to do the same thing using server publishing on the external
server and a dialling the external firewall, this worked fine too.

Am i doing something wrong? My understanding was that the second method
should not work.
