ISA authenticates users according to the policies and configuration you define.
What auth methods have you selected in the Outgoing Web Requests listener?
Odds are, those PDA's don't know how to handle any auth method other than Basic (if that).

Hi I have got a ISA/Webmail setup with the ISA in the DMZ using SSL bridging to the Exchange FE server. My problem is that users using PDA's, e.g PALM pilot are not able to access the site, they receive a HTTPS access denied error without any password prompt. I also have a IIS server running SSL derecly in the DMZ and that server prompts for the username and works 100% So Id assume it has got something to do with the way ISA athenticates users. Any ideas?? Regards MArnus
