Probiere mal ob Dir xp_logininfo, wie beschrieben in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834124/
"How to troubleshoot a SQL Server 8198 error"
weiterhilft.

Der Datenbankowner ist 'sa'...daran liegt es also nicht.

Mit einer Datenbank bzw. deren Besitzer hat das überhaupt
nichts zu tun. Die Einstellung erfolgt serverweit.
Um ein Proxy Konto festzulegen muss der Dienst unter
einem Konto mit Administratorenrechten ausgeführt werden,
siehe die Dokumentation zu xp_sqlagent_proxy_account und
