select serverproperty('Edition'), serverproperty('Productversion'),
serverproperty('Productlevel')
Edition: Standard, Enterprise, etc.
Productversion: Nummer aus der auch der Patchlevel ersichtlich ist
Productlevel: Servicepackbezeichnung

Geht aber IMHO nur bei SQL2000
