Du mußt irgendwo im Bios einstellen können das er zuerst von
A:, Bzw. von Floppy, booten soll.

Bloß warum konnte ich mit der Startdiskette formatieren?

Wenn du von Festplatte gestartet hast und eine Diskette mit
den selben Betriebssystem verwendet hast dann kann man da auch
die format.com von der Diskette ausführen.
