also wir haben die Zertifikate von Thawte, weis vielleicht jemand wie man
das ausspricht :-)

Dabei haben wir immer die 123-SSL-Zertifikate für 2 Jahre genommen und die
taugen bislang.

Was ich mich noch Frage, macht es Sinn, ein SGC Super Cert zu erwerben
oder reicht das normale SSL Web Server Certificate aus?
Der Einsatzzweck ist eine gesicherte Verbindung auf eine Webapplikation
zu gewaehrleisten.

das SGC Super Cert kenne ich nicht, aber so wie ich das auf der Thawte
Seite sehe ist es primaer nur die hoehere Verschluesslung mit 256 Bit,
statt der ueblichen 128 Bit.
Jetzt muessen die Browser das ja auch noch unterstuetzen. IE6 hat IMHO nur
128 Bit, IE7 kann 256 Bit, aktuelle Opera Browser auch. Also
zukunftssicher mit 256 Bit!. Minimal werden ja auch 128 Bit unterstuetzt.
Ist der Preisunterschied denn gross?
