Das macht man eigentlich nicht, weil PDF eben kein HTML ist. Ich vermute
mal, der Browser versucht, den Inhalt eben als HTML darzustellen und das
gibt ganz sicher ein Problem. Lass das pdf als eigenes Fenster öffnen
und es sollte klappen.

Zu dem anderen Tip: Man blendet auch keine Word-Dokumente einfach so im
Web ein. Einerseits erfordert das, dass der Besucher Word hat (okay,
dürfte meistens der Fall sein, wäre aber trotzdem eine extra
Geldausgabe) und zweitens würde es (wenn überhaupt) nur im Internet
Explorer so angezeigt, wie es dir wahrscheinlich vorschwebt. Andere
Browser (Firefox ist in Deutschland mittlerweile sehr verbreitet) zeigen
die Datei nicht an, sondern bieten den Download an.
