Selbst darum enthaltene Texte sind im Vektorformat im PDF enthalten, und damit beliebig und verlustfrei skalierbar.

BTW: Auch EMF ist ein Vektorformat...

Generier Dir mal eine PDF aus einem Report und verwende hierbei ein ReportListener-Object. Dann wirst Du sehr schnell feststellen, dass die PDF keinerlei Fonts beinhaltet. Warum nicht? Weil der Treiber eine Grafik empfängt!

Das habe ich auch nie behauptet, dass hier Fonts enthalten sind. Und darum ging es hier auch gar nicht...

Ich habe nur gesagt, dass ein Rechteck oder eine Linie auf einem Report auch als Vektorgrafik an den Treiber übergeben wird, und nicht vorher in ein Bitmap (also Pixel für Pixel) umgerechnet wird.

Was mit Fonts passiert, ist für die hier ursprünglich gestellte Frage absolut nebensächlich und interessiert mich hier auch nicht.
