Datenträgerverwaltung: Partition vergrößern oder neue Partition anlegen

Hallo NewsGroup,

Betriebssystem XP Professional:
ich habe eine Disk mit 230 GB, wie folgt aufgeteilt:
c: NTFS, 130 GB Systempartition
d: NTFS, 50 GB
50 GB nicht zugeordnet

Nun wird der Platz knapp und ich möchte die restlichen 50 GB noch verwendet.
Soll ich daraus eine eigene Partition (e) anlegen oder d erweitern?
Kann ich eigentlich d mit XP-Mittel erweitern, bzw. ist dies evtl. mit Risiko behaftet?

Weitere Überlegung:
ich habe noch eine weitere Disk (750 GB), auf der ich Vista installieren möchte.
Wahlweise möchte ich dann XP, bzw. Vista verwenden.
Was gibt es dabei zu beachten?
