Wo fehlt die richtige Einstellung?

Wie ich aus den anderen Posts gelesen habe gibt es den "Reiter" APM bei dir nicht, das deutet für mich darauf hin das du (oder sonst wer :-) ), den Rechner einmal per Hand von ACPI auf Standart-PC, in der Systemsteuerung, umgeschaltet habt.
Dieses Problem hatte ich selber früher und das APM fehlte kam nur immer wen man, meist aus kompabilitätsgrunden, von ACPI auf Standart gewechselt ist.

Selbst wen du APM über Hardware installieren solltest wird das nicht funktionieren, zumindest ist das meine Erfahrung.

Abhilfe schaffte immer nur einen neuinstallation von WinXP ( KEINE Reperaturinstallation), dort must du dann wen nach SCSI usw. Treibern gefragt wird F5 drücken und dann Standart-PC installieren.
Damit sollte auch APM einwandfrei funktionieren, gibt natürlich auch uralthardware wo auch das dann nicht geht.
Sollte ACPI installiert werden können würde ich das auch einmal versuchen, aber ohne zu wissen welche Hardware du hast kann ich das nicht ohne bedenken empfehlen.
