Seit SP2 keine Internetseite mehr anzeigbar

Hallo,

hatte SP2 installiert, dann wieder den alten Zustand mit SP1 hergestellt,
weil ich mit SP2 keine einzige Internetseite mehr "erhalte".

Folgendes zur weiteren Information (was ich VOR der Installation von SP2
bereits hatte):

Windows XP
Service Pack 1
Norton Firewall 2004
Norton Anti Virus 2004
- die XP-Firewall hatte ich abgeschaltet, daran konnte es also nicht
liegen -
Internet Explorer 6.00.2800.1106
DSL

Sobald ich eine DSL-Verbindung hatte kommt bei JEDER Internetseite das
berühmte weiße Fenster mit den üblichen Hinweisen "Seite nicht gefunden...
bla .. bla .. bla ... der Server ist u.U. momentan nicht verfügbar...
bla...bla ...bla ..überprüfen Sie die Netzwerkeinstellungen...usw."

Woran kann das noch liegen? VOR der Installation von SP2 lief ja alles mit
der Norton Firewall normal - oder verstellt SP2 die Einstellungen auch in
der Norton Firewall (da habe ich nämlich noch nicht nachgeschaut gehabt).

Hoffe, mir kann jemand helfen.

PS: Habe inzwischen Norton Internet Security 2005 installiert (natürlich
noch unter SP1). Ob es da dann nicht mehr wäre? Bei Symantec und Microsoft
Knowledge Base habe ich nichts gefunden, was mein Problem lösen könnte(oder
ich hatte Tomaten auf den Augen).
