Darin findet sich evtl. des "Pudels Kern". Meine Festplatte wurde
mit einer DOS 7.1 Diskette partitioniert und formatiert, bevor
dann Windows XP Prof als zusätzliches Betriebssystem installiert wurde.
Dabei habe ich nur die Partition, auf der XP installiert wurde,
NTFS-formatieren lassen. Späteres Umwandeln von weiteren Partitionen
liefert immer eine Clustergröße von 512 Bytes, weil sie *nicht*
mit dem "Format Command in Windows XP Professional" formatiert wurden?

Und unter XP-Home bleiben die Einschränkungen für die Cluster-Größe
evtl. weiter bestehen?

Wie dem auch sei, ich habe einfach die umzuwandelnde Partition leer
gemacht und mit dem Befehl format G: /FS:NTFS /A:4096 neu formatiert,
danach war die Cluster-Größe 4 kb, wie von mir gewünscht.
