direkt auf dem Problem PC zu starten. Wenn man beim Starten "F5" wählt
und im dann erscheinenden Menü "im VGA Modus starten" auswählt, bleibt
der Bildschirm in niedrigster Auflösung eingeschaltet. Versuche ich
dann, auf irgendeine andere Auflösung umzuschalten, wird er wieder
augenblicklich schwarz. Unter Gerätemanager-Grafikarte kann ich nur
Einstellungen mit 60 Hertz auswählen. Aber auch diese funktionieren
nicht.

Eine De- und Neuinstallation des Grafikkartentreibers bringt auch
keinen Erfolg. Ich befürchte inzwischen, ich muss diese Installation
aufgeben und wieder ganz bei Null beginnen.

Um einen Hardware Fehler auszuschließen, habe ich auf einer anderen
Festplatte ein anderes frisches Windows installiert, welches
funktioniert. Leider werde ich dieses jetzt nicht mehr los. Eine
Google Suche nach "Windows deinstallieren" und ähnlichem brachte keine
funktionierende Lösung.
