Zweite Bootpartition - Windows bleibt hängen

Liebe Newsgroupler,

ich wollte schlau sein und habe meine 80GB-Festplatte wie folgt unterteilt:

Part1 - 15 GB NTFS - active
Part2 - 20 GB NTFS - hidden
Part3 - 45 GB NTFS - visible

Auf Part1 habe ich in dieser Konfiguration Windows XP pro installiert, dann
ein Partitionsimage angelegt und auf Part2 übertragen.

Wenn ich nun Part2 active visible setze und dafür Part1 auf hidden, scheint
der PC auch zu booten. Windows XP schaltet bis in den ersten grafischen
Bootbildschirm, bleibt dann aber einfach hängen. Der sich normalerweise
bewegende schmale orange Balken steht, anstatt nach rechts zu wandern. In
diesem Zustand verharrt der PC ohne jegliche Fehlermeldung oder timeout.

Kennt jemand dieses Verhalten und kann mir einen Tipp geben?!
