nö.

Ohne X-Server bekommst du aber kein graphisches Linux-Programm in Windows zum Laufen. Die Putty Einstellung sorgt nur dafür, dass der Datenverkehr an einen potentiell lokalen X-Server weitergeleitet wird (ähnlich ssh -X).

Schau Dir sonst mal XMing an, en schlanker X-Server für Windows.
