Das sollte sich durch ein Treiberupdate beheben lassen. Ich sag's mal drastisch: SP2 ist wichtiger als ein funktionierender Scanner, es sei denn, der betreffende Rechner hat keine Verbindung ins Internet.

und Medal of Honor, Counterstrike & Co fanden im LAN keinen
Server mehr.

Logo. SP2 bringt erweiterte Firewallfunktionen mit und aktiviert (im Gegensatz zu SP1) die Firewall auch gleich. Folglich musst du die Windows Internet Connection Firewall entsprechend konfigurieren, dann läuft das auch wieder.

Windows Update könnt ich mir mal angucken,

Aber wenn du SP2 schon hast, würde ich das offline einspielen. Sonst rauschen unnötigerweise zig Megabyte über die Leitung. Was dann noch an Patches fehlt, erledigt Windows Update.

Der XP-Firewall trau ich aber trotzdem nicht. 

Die ist nicht weniger vertrauenswürdig als Zone Alarm ;-)
