Problem mit Pextor SCSI CDROM

Ich möchte mich an euch wenden, weil ich (vielleicht) nicht der einzigste
bin, dessen CDROM unter Win-XP Probleme bereitet.
Es ist so, das Win XP ständig auf das CDROM zugreift um dessen Rückmeldung
zu erhalten. Dies ist nach dem Hochfahren der Fall.

Dies bremst nicht nur das CDROM aus und beeinträchtigt dessen Autostart
Funktion, sondern auch WinXP wird dadurch behindert.
Habe für das SCSI PX40TS die neuste Firmware geflasht aber das Problem
besteht weiterhin.
Der beiden Brenner mit der Bezeichung PX1210 und R412C arbeitet dagegen
einwandfrei.
Unter Win98 funktioniert dieses einwandfrei. Es ist scheint ein
Softwareproblem.vor zu liegen.
Es ist so das mein SCSI Hostadapter mit der Bezeichnung AHA 2940UW
"sternförmig" betrieben wird. Das ist nicht gerade Adaptec konform, hat aber
unter Win98 immer funktioniert. Auf den 16 und 32Bit Bus intern, und extern
nochmal mit 2 Iomega Laufwerken.

Vielleicht hat jemand ne Idee ?
Mainboard ist ein QDI BrillianX 1S mit 512MB RAM und 350Mhz PII Prozessor.
Am 50-Poligen Bus befinden sich 3 CDROMS, und am "wide-Bus" zwei 9,1 GB IBM
Festplatten.
Am externen BUS zwei Iomega Laufwerke (zip + Jaz)
