Smartcard Reader Problem

Guten Tag,

ich habe heute mein neues Multifunktionsgerät Brother MFC
3420 C installiert, Funktionen okay.

Allerdings habe ich festgestellt, dass mein Smartcard
Reader auf COM 1 nun über 50% Prozessor
Ressourcen "frisst" und zusammen mit "services.exe" fast
100% der CPU auslastet. Nur wenn ich den Prozess beende,
habe ich wieder die normale System Perfomance.

Ich habe im Geräte-Manager gesehen, dass der Brother MFC
(Drucker/Sanner/Kopierer/Fax sich auch einen COM Port (3)
reserviert hat, und natürlich (was ich auch verstehe)
einen entsprechenden USB Port.

Wo verrennt sich mein System und wie kann ich das Problem
lösen? Ich benötige den Smartcard Reader für meine
Homebanking Anwendungen.

Danke im voraus für einen professionellen Tipp.
