wir haben Benchmarks gemacht und damals entschieden unsere Touch Geräte mit ARM CPU (Intel Xscale) zu bauen :-)
Für MIPS gibt es nicht so viele kompatible Software, ARM ist mehr verbreitet.
zBsp der Device Emulator für WInCE 5.0/6.0 kann nur X86 oder ARM

Neue Designs basieren auf ARM (Apples Iphone, Freescale, Samsung, TI, Intel/Marvell, etc).
Was genau müssen die Touch Panels machen?
Von welcher Firma habt ihr die Touch Panels ? Wir waren auch auf der Embedded. Ich kann Dir unseren ITP-104 schicken und Du kannst einen Benchmark machen. jeje :-)

-SDK brauchst Du wenn DU unmanaged Code erstellen wirst. (dein OEM Hardware-Lieferant muß es Dir geben)
Für managed code brauchst Du kein SDK
-Wieso hast Du eine Hardware mit MIPS gekauft?
Was spricht gegen MIPs?

Mein Chef hat auf der embedded-Messe preiswerte TouchScreen-Geräte gefunden und zwei Muster gekauft. Da sind eben MIPse drin.

Nochmal: warum KEIN MIPs?
