Auf Grund der ganzen Hinweise habe ich mir einmal das Manual zu Deinem
Mainboard angesehen und nur eine einzige MIDI-Einstellung gefunden.
Gehe im BIOS einmal im Register 'Advanced' auf den Punkt 'I/O Device
Configuration'. Dort findest Du als letzten Punkt 'Onboard MIDI I/O'.
Dieser Punkt ist standardmäßig disabled.
Es wird zumindest nicht schaden, wenn Du diesen einmal auf 'Enabled'
stellst. Ob es hilft, steht auf einem ganz anderen Blatt.

Tja, das brauche ich gar nicht auszuprobieren, diesen Eintrag gibt es in
meinem BIOS unter Advanced/I/O Device Configuration nicht, alles was dort
zu finden ist klingt imho in keinster Weise nach Soundkarte:

Floppy Disk Access Control
Onboard Serial Port 1
Onboard Serial Port 2
UARTZ use as [Com Port]
Onboard Parallel Port
Parallel Port Mode
ECP DMA Select
Onboard Card Reader Type
Speech Post Reporter

Dat wars.
