W2K "hängt " oft...-explorer-?

Neue W2K SP4 Installation. Habe gegenüber meiner erstenInstallation von vor
zwei Jahren nix anders gemacht (außer SP4 statt SP")
Rechner: 800Mhz, 512 RAM 80 GB-Platte. Sollte für Office und ein bißchen
Grafik reichen...
Nun bricht er, nei mehreren geöffneten Programmen (aber nie mehr als
vielleicht vier) häufig ab und will in einen Debug Modus (?). Sorry ich bin
Laie... ,-)
Danach kann ich nur noch per Task-Manager alle Anwendungne schließen. Häufig
hängt zuerst der "explorer". Ist er auch der Verursacher?
Eigentlich nutze ich sowieso häufiger den Speed Commander7, da dieser m.E.
komfortabler ist...
Wer weiß da Rat, soll ich (und wenn ja wie) diesen Debug-Modus abschalten?
Ich hoffe die ExpertInnen finden diese Frge nicht zu blöd... Aber ich stze
in diese NG gro0ße Hoffnung,da ich bereits drei Super Tipps in derletzten
Zeit bekommen habe. Danke!
