Ping geht, aber kein Internet mehr ?????????

Hallo,

habe immer folgendes Problem:

Ich habe einen Client, der im ganzen Web rumpingen kann,
z.B. auch die Nameserver der T-Com rufe ich aber im
Browser eine Webseite auf, dann wird diese nicht gefunden
bzw ist nicht erreichbar.

Ein nslookup findet übrigens den eingetragenen nameserver
nicht.

Selbst die Eingabe der Website in Form der IP Nummer geht
nicht. Mir ist das Problem bekannt. Irgendwas geht im
Bereich der Sockets schief aber ich möchte das Problem
anders lösen als immer nur das BS neu zu installieren. Ich
habe da so langsam keinen Bock mehr drauf. Kan mmir jemand
sagen woher dieser Fehler stammt? Habe schon etliche Tools
ausprobiert die ein bekanntes Winsock Problem beheben
sollen, aber ohne Erfolg.
Selbst die Reparaturinstallation von win2000 und
anschliessendes Patchen mit SP4 hilft nicht.
Ich bekomme hier noch echt die Krise.

Muss dazu sagen, dass ich zuvor den Cisco VPN Client
installiert habe um bei uns in der Hochschule den Wlan
Zugang zu nutzen. Dieser muss in der Netzwerkkonfiguration
irgendetwas geändert haben was selbst nach der
Deinstallation des Clients nicht rückgängig gemacht wird.

Googlen und die grottenschlechte Supportsite von Cisco
helfen leider auch nicht weiter.

ICh fress hier bald mein Laptop. Vor allem weil die Zeit
drängt und ich das LAptop zum Laufen bringen muss.
