Vista und D-Link Router

Hallo.

Bin soeben aus dem Urlaub zurück. Das Hotel in dem wir waren hat in der
Broschüre WLAN in der Hotel Lobby angeboten. Das hat auch sehr gut
funktioniert, allerdings nur mit WinXP. Die meisten Hotelgäste hatten
jedoch bereits Laptops mit Vista, mit dem keine WLAN Verbindung zum
Internet zustande kam.

"ipconfig /all" zeigte, dass der D-Link Router (Modell war nicht in
Erfahrung zu bringen) dem Client eine IP Adresse zugeordnet hat, der
Router als DNS und Gateway korrekt eingetragen war. Im Prinzip sah alles
so aus wie es sein sollte, jedoch kam keine Verbindung zum Internet
zustande. Wie gesagt, "ipconfig /all" vom WinXP Client zeigte sich
identisch, nur dass das Internet dort erreichbar war. Dem Hotel war das
Problem bekannt, jedoch schoben die es auf eine Inkompatibilität von
Vista mit dem D-Link Router. Ich habe bisher noch nie gehört dass ein
Netzwerk dermaßen BS abhängig reagiert.

Weiter habe ich getestet:
LAN Kabel Verbindung zum Router – kein Erfolg!
Feste IP Adressen (Client, DNS, Gateway) – kein Erfolg!

Weiß jemand warum WinXP in einem offenen WLAN (WEP, WPA(2)
ausgeschaltet) das Internet über einen Router erreicht und Vista nicht?
