WBEM ist vielleicht nicht durch dieselbe Standardisierungsorganisation verabschiedet wie SNMP, aber sehr wohl ein Standard mit allem Drum und Dran. Das dürfte jetzt aber schnell in Haarspalterei ausarten.

Wenn es einen sinnvollen Einsatzzweck für SNMP gibt, wie ihn der OP nachgereicht hat, und wenn man es sinnvoll implementiert und absichert, kann man das ja auch gerne nutzen. Ich werde da niemanden bekehren wollen. Da der Zusammenhang aber zunächst nicht genannt worden war, habe ich auf eine in meinen Augen höchst sinnvolle Alternative hingewiesen. Und damit EOD für mich.
