Ja gut, wir haben 2 NICs die auch expliziet für LAN SAN dediziert sind und
auch dementsprechend in die VM gebridged werden.

Also der GSX Server ist eine normale Enterprise Umgebung und wohl schon für
High-Performance ausgelegt, das "Gerücht"
mit den 10 MBit stammt daher das der vmlance Treiber unter Windows als 10
MBit classifiziert wird, die tatsächliche Bandbreite
ist davon jedoch nicht betroffen und abhängig von der Hardware. Mal
nebenbei, SP2 (330MB) vom lokalen laufwerk auf das
iSCSI SAN kopieren dauert unter 2 Sekunden aus der VM raus.

Das Risiko bin ich bewusst eingegangen als ich mich für VMware entschieden
habe, gäbe es von MS ein Produkt das vergleichbar
ist (jetzt bitte nicht Virtual Server schreien) hätte ich das genommen und
von MS bekommt man so oder so nur Hilfe wenn man für
eine Support - ANFRAGE 299¤ bezahlt oder sehe ich das falsch?
