Hat der Link was mit der Frage zu tun? Ich hab da nichts gefunden, ausser
das der Artikel vielleicht helfen wird beim DFS einrichten.
Mich hat die Frage auch beschäftigt und nach diesem Artikel bin ich zu der
Antwort "Nein" gekommen.:

not necessary to change your current Active Directory schema. However, if

running Windows Server 2003 R2 as a domain controller, you must first
prepare Active Directory by extending the schema to accommodate the needs of
these features. The following features require an extension of the Active
Directory schema:

Da steht ja nur, dass ich das Schema erweitern muss wenn ich eines der neuen
Features nutzen will "oder" wenn ich einen R2 Server als DC laufen lassen
möchte.

Möglich dass es für andere Dinge noch notwendig ist den DC zu updaten?
Ich lasse mich ja gern überzeugen.
