ich glaub nicht, dass Du sowas für IIS selbst findest. IIS hat wenig Ansprüche,
um einiges wichtiger sind die Anwendungen, die auf dem IIS laufen sollen und
die weiteren Anforderungen drumrum (DBMS, Logging, Cache, ...)

Wenn ich ehrlich sein soll, ist IIS mit P*P und MySQL nicht unbedingt die
beste Wahl. Geht zwar aber man sollte sich das Leben nicht unnötig schwer
machen :)

Die gesuchten Eckpunkte wären die Hardware betreffend das Memory
Management, CPU Layout, HD Layout

Was genau machst Du denn? Wie viele User? Welche DB Eckdaten? Wie viele
Zugriffe?

und softwareseitig die Möglichkeiten des
Tunings bzw. des Anpassen an die Kundenanforderungen (Customizing).

? Woher soll das jemand wissen. Hat doch keine eine Ahnung, was Du da machen
willst :)

Ich persönlich statte Server mittlerweile mit Dual Quad Nehalems (oder
vergleichbaren AMD Prozis) und 32 GB RAM (ggfs. auch mehr) aus. Die
Webserver selbst laufen allerdings als VM auf den Maschinen. Zum Rest
kann man erst dann was sagen, wenn man genau weiß, was Du wie brauchst.
