welchen IIS braucht XP Web Client Network

Mit dem Web Client Network von Windows XP/2003 soll eine http (WebDav) Verbindung zu einem IIS gemacht werden.

Es geht darum, einen IIS so zu konfigurieren, dass ein beliebiger XP Client mit Hausmitteln eine Verbindung herstellen kann. Ohne irgendwas wie z.B. Office oder Frontpage zu installieren. Genau so wie es jeder Windows 2000 Client per Webordner auch konnte.

Mit welchem IIS soll das funktionieren?
Zu einem Windows 2000 IIS mit Frontpage Servererweiterungen 2000 oder 2003 funktioniert von XP keine Web Client Verbindung.
Zu einem Windows 2003 IIS mit Frontpage 2003 Servererweiterungen habe ich es auch nicht hinbekommen.
Auch nicht von Windows 2003 Server zu sich selbst.

WebDAV ist in den Webdienst Erweiterungen zugelassen und der Dienst Web Client gestartet.

Mit Windows 2000 als Client funktioniert der Webordner mit allen oben genannten IIS und FPSE Versionen.
Warum nicht mehr mit XP?
