Definitiv falsch verstanden.

Exchange 2000 is supported to run in a Windows Server 2003 environment,
where it can take advantage of the new features of the Microsoft Active
Directory directory service and of the global catalog of Windows Server
2003.

Although Exchange 2000 is supported in a Windows Server 2003 environment,
Exchange 2000 itself must be installed and run on a Microsoft Windows 2000
Server-based computer. You cannot install and run Exchange 2000 on a Windows
Server 2003-based computer.
