Typisch Herr Gras. Warum willst du nicht verstehen? Hier behauptet *keiner*, dass Wins/Netbios eine notwendige Bedingung ist, sondern lediglich, dass der Hersteller(MS) selber zu Protokoll gibt, dass eine W2K(3)/Exchange 2K(3K) ohne funktionierende Netbios Namensauflösung nicht getestet ist. Daraus folgere,zumindest ich, dass man eine solche Anwendung(Exchange) nicht ohne dieser laufen lässt.

"Microsoft recommends that Exchange organizations use Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) and DNS for name resolution. Installations of Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2000 in large and subnetted organizations without WINS *have not been fully tested*. In large organizations, NetBIOS name resolution through broadcasts may not function correctly. Some Exchange functionality may also be affected."

....übrigens noch mal ´ne tolle Gelegenheit für dich zu behaupten, dass ich mich immer in einen Thread einmische, der eh schon gelaufen ist.
