Schau mal im Security Eventlog nach. da sollte der Fehler bei der Anmeldung sichrbar sein.
Was gibst du als Username an ?

Domäne\username
username@addomäne.tld (nicht Mailadresse !!!)

Aber achtung. ohne SSL sind Kennwort bei SMTP und POP3 in Klartext !!
Also SSL aktivieren., wenn es denn wirklcih SMTP sein muss.
Wie wäre es mit RPC over hTTP mit Outlook ?
