Remoting - freie tcp Ports finden

Hallo zusammen...

ich suche nach eine Möglichkeit einen freien tcp Port zu ermitteln.

Hintergrund:
Ich habe eine Reihe von .NET Remoting Server. Zur Zeit habe ich für alle
Server den Port "fest" konfiguriert (via AppConfig). Ich möchte aber, das
der Server sich selbst einen freien Port sucht und sich auf diesem
aktiviert. Am besten wäre, wenn ich hierzu einen Bereich von Ports angeben
könnte (z.B. zwischen 4000 und 4100).

Klar kann ich in einer Schleife alle Ports durchprobieren, bis ein freier
gefunden wurde. Es muss aber doch noch eine bessere Lösung geben... oder?
