Das man mit .NET momentan kein RAD machen kann liegt aber mehr an der
lausigen IDE als am Framework. In VS 2005 wird wenigstens jetzt E&C drin
sein, das hilft schon viel.

Aber ich glaube nicht daran dass der Form Designer weniger Bugs
enthalten wird. Ich vermute mal man wird auch weiterhin Form code von
Hand stricken müssen, was meist eh auf Dauer bei Überarbeitungen
schneller und übersichtlicher ist. Ich gebe ja auch gerne zu dass ein
GUI das mit abgeleiteten Forms und Controls, den mit Longhorn kommenden
Layoutmanagern etc. komplizierter ist als mit den recht simpel
gestrickten VB Classic GUIs. Aber so fehlerhaft wie in VS 2003 muss echt
nicht sein.

Refactoring ist ja in Zukunft auch ein bisschen dabei, wenn auch noch
nicht so schön wie in Eclipse.

Es ist also Hoffnung da das die IDE so langsam an das rankommt was bei
anderen seit Ewigkeiten Standard ist, aber momentan bin ich in VB
Classic um Faktoren produktiver als in C#.

Mal schauen ob man dann endlich sagen kann:
.NET 2005 kann endlich so viel wie Smalltalk 1970 ;-)
