Es gibt natürlich freie SSH Tools (Putty, OpenSSH), die aber leider erst
einmal keine API in dem Sinne bieten sondern fertige Tools.

Die Frage ist, was Du genau machen willst / musst. Wir sind in
vergangenen Projekten so vorgegangen, dass wir komplett per externem
Aufruf OpenSSH benutzt haben und von dem Aufruf wurde dann entsprechend
etwas zurückgegeben, was dann ausgewertet wurde.

Somit hat sich unser Projekt immer zweigeteilt - halt die Server
Applikation auf dem eigentlichen Server und dann auf den per SSH
erreichten Servern noch eine Sammlung von Scripten, die halt die
gewünschten Tätigkeiten durchgeführt haben und Ausgaben in einem
gewünschten Format erzeugt haben.

Evtl. lässt sich dies ja auch bei Euch so handhaben.
