Das war ursprünglich so am Entwicklungsrechner. Das hat auch
funktioniert. Jetzt:

Webanwendung -> Lokal/Entwicklungsrechner
Webservice -> Production, also "im Internet", nicht im lokalen Netz

Ja, weil wie gesagt wenn ich vom Entwicklungsrechner den Webservice über
den Internet Explorer aufrufe funktioniert er und kann auch korrekt
ausgeführt werden, also ist die Adresse erreichbar. Also daran kanns
nicht liegen.

An einem Fehler in der Webanwendung kanns auch nicht liegen weil wie
gesagt der Versuch über Visual Studio einen Webverweis hinzuzufügen
ebenfalls fehlschlägt, obwohl Visual Studio auch die IE-Seite aufrufen
kann.
