Prinzipiell ja, aber "einfach" ist relativ. ;-)

David Ireland hat eine Menge sehr umfangreicher Beispiele zum
Thema Cryptography mit VB(A). Schau mal auf der Seite
http://www.di-mgt.com.au/crypto.html vorbei. Für einige gängige
Algorithmen (MD5, Blowfish) kannst du die dortigen Beispiele
wahrscheinlich sogar unverändert übernehmen.
