Halo2 on install I get error code: REDIDTS\VCREDIST.MSI:

I am trying to install halo2 for vista I get the error code:
REDIDTS\VCREDIST.MSI: user cancelled installitaion. I did not cancel the
install and I have no idea why i cant install the game any thoughts?
