extend the DSL thingy out to our road. (It currently stops right at
the beginning of our road)
Yeah, well at least it's close, probably just need to call your
neighbors and tell them you want DSL and to please call on your
behalf. I've heard if
a bunch of people call from an inaccessable area they might move up
their plans to extend into your area.
Good luck.
Get some friends together. Plan a weekend, rent a hotel conference room
near by and organize a small LAN party. Just remember to bring plenty of
LAN cables, extra Switches and Routers, and a decent supply of power strips
and beef jerky/bawls/chips/pizza.
