Hi Synn,
Please make certain to post this question to the Media Center
newsgroups located on this same server. The MVP's over
there most likely have seen this type of issue before. :-)

| Hi
|
| I recently bought a new PC (on 1/1/07) that came pre-installed with XP Media
| Center (SP2)
|
| I configured Media Center with music folders and everything was working
| fine. I've then installed WMP 11 and everything still seemed to be working,
| but when I went into Media Center today, all my albums are marked as Unknown
| Album and Unknown Artist and when I try and play one it says it cannot be
| found and make sure the path is correct. I cannot delete any of the albums
| from within Media Center.
|
| I then went into WMP11 and removed all the albums from in there and it
| removed them from Media Center as well, which was to be expected but when I
| try and re-add music into Media Center it does nothing. If I try and re-add
| it in WMP11 it adds in there fine but Media center still see's it as an
| Unknown Album and refuses to find it or play it.
|
| I've read some threads saying to remove from WMP11 and re-add and that
| solves their issue, but it hasn't done here. Can anyone help!!!
|
| It is only affecting Music
.
