Thanks for the reply. But I do not understand your DDR400. if that
is the bus speed MHz, then my 3200+ is lacking The original 512
memory chip is a Samsung at 166 MHz bus speed. the other one I added
is a Patriot saying it was 333 MHz, but of course speed is kicked down
to the slowest mem chip. Repotting this with a mem test:
2 x 166 MHz (332 MHz data rate)
&
DDR-SRAM 167 MHz
If the it is the case that you think I should get different memory
chips, well, thanks for the input but that isn't going to happen very
soon.
Can someone recommend an online game for me to get involved in? A
game I can play against others. Back before I got out of computing
(now back! hurray! & hooked...), I really liked Doom. & Heretic.
Doom 2 I played a while ago. I also play Blacknova Traders, a wen
based space strategy game. Any suggestions? What is this "Half Life"
game I hear about?
Oh, if I do want to get involved, where do I find the network to play
on?
Like I said, totally green & no friend that is into this, so I need
info from zero.
