I tried all of that before I posted-none of it worked. I
even went a step further and disconnected everything,
including the printer and that was no help. I tried a clean
boot, with just the keboard and mouse connected, antivirus
turned off, internet connection turned off, firewall turned
off and all services turned off-still no help. did a repair
windows from the original disk, ran Dell Digonostics, Intel
Diagnostics, Direct X Digonostics, cleaned out my tower,
ran spybot, ran Win Dr. did a defrag, disk clean up and ran
a Tech's diagnostic-all reported no problems and passed all
the test-this is why I am stumped!
