Help With Games!!

I have Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne. They
worked fine so I know its not my computer. It doesn't
work anymore, it loads but never gets into the game. Is
there something I may have adjusted in Windows XP that
could have caused this?

Side note: My computer runs slow! Are there any ways to
make it go faster. SYSTEM : Windows XP, 160 MB RAM, 80 GB
HARD DRIVE, 32 MB Video CARD.

Are there any ways to improve game performance?

OVERALL: My question is how do I get my game to work.
P.S. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times.
