So far everyone who's experienced this error has one thing in common:
Internet Explorer Q832894 (update) is listed in their Control Panel /
Add - Remove programs list. Removing it is not advised due to the
fact that it's a cumulative security update from February 6th, 2004.

I would suggest contacting AoM support to report the issue:
scroll to the bottom of the frame at http://www.eso.com/FAQ.asp

By contacting them, they will realise how many people are affected,
and correct the issue as quickly as possible, or post the workaround
/ resolution in their FAQ. I suspect it might be a security setting, but I
don't have the game to test my theory. Good luck, I hope this helps! :-)
