Bob Evans (bobevans@dontspamme.orhaonline.net) agreed.

All of you didn't have to help me so I especially appreciate your doing so.
I first went to the gamecopyworld site and, while it is a bit daunting
for a mother who simply wants her young daughter to be able to play on a
safe backup, I managed to find *multiple* clonecd programs some of which
had just web pages but no software; others which had software but which
didn't work.
Now I'm confused. Which is the 'real' clonecd?
For example, I tried to download clonecd 4.2.0.2 apparently by Clonecd
http://www.clonecd.net/download.htm
But that web page said it was no longer offered.
Same story with clone cd apparently by Elby, located at:
http://www.elby.ch/en/products/clone_cd/index.html
(although they did have a clone_dvd there but no clone_cd anymore).
I found, downloaded, & ran a clonecd 4.3.1.9 apparently by Slysoft
http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html
and another (similar looking) clone cd apparently on the Hitsquad site:
http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/CloneCD/
But, the CDROMs they created acted the same as my normal backups.
I even tried discJuggler (from the gamecopyworld pages) by Padus:
http://www.padus.com/downloads/demo.php
which copied the 250Mb Barbie CDROM in about 30 minutes; yet, again,
the copy installed & started up but didn't run while the original does.
I tried to download the suggested "ClonyXXL" from
http://www.byao.com/index2.php3
But, all that web page did was say:
First click my sponser and then you can download your stuff
but it never un-grayed out the "download" button no matter how
many times I clicked on the "sponsor" button (does that web
site just not work with Netscape 7.1`?).
Likewise at the recommended http://beam.to/cdprotectionscout URL
which simply reports the one line, in red:
"The Beam.To-URL was set to inactive", visitor number 2,347,258
I am trying your advice but (as you can see) there's reoom for
confusion here (maybe it's all my fault).
To clean up some of the confusion, may I ask for help in two ways:
1. Can someone clarify for me just correct CLONE CD that I should
obtain that actually has a working URL?
2. Can someone supply a working URL for a tool to tell me what kind
of copy protection information I can find out about my daughter's
Barbie Horse Adventures CDROM game?
Thank you very much for your patience (I'm new to this backup game),
Nellie
