Need strategy for 7 hand poker!!!!

My buddy and I play the best of 3 games at least 5 times daily. I used
to kill him and now he has killed me for three weeks straight. He says
he has a new strategy that I won't believe... he says its been there
all along and if he told me I'd say "Are you joking me?"... Is
there a trick or strategy to this game?!?!? Please, I need help
ASAP!!!!
